THE ADVANTAGES OF BEING A COOSS MEMBER

To cooperate and use our mutual services

These people are those who use the mutual services of the cooperative. All natural persons with capacity to act are eligible as cooperating members, in particular:

  • those with professional skills in the areas covered by the cooperative,
  • those who wish to collaborate to achieve the social purposes;
  • those who perform assistance and advocacy activities related to the type of service provided by the cooperative, as mentioned in art. 10, law 381/91

To grow and help the others.

These people are those who freely offer their voluntary work to the cooperative, in order to contribute to the achievement of its social purposes. Their number cannot be more than half of the total number of members. Who wants to be admitted as volunteer members in the cooperative must submit a request that contains:

  • first name, last name, date and place of birth, residence, fiscal code;
  • indication of the occupation;
  • declaration of acceptance of this statute, of the internal rules and the decisions formally adopted by the association organs;
  • number of shares the member wishes to subscribe, which must not be less than the amount periodically defined by the the shareholders' meeting and not more than the maximum limit defined by law for cooperating members;
  • definition of the available volunteer tasks and of the place of performance (for free) in favour of the cooperative.

 

The decision about the acceptance of the request is made by the Board of Directors, which makes the registration in the appropriate section of the shareholders' book.

To invest in everybody's future.

This type of membership supports the cooperative by means of funds for the technological development, the renovation or the company reinforcement, in order to achieve the social purposes.

Both natural and legal persons can be accepted as financing members, within the limits indicated by the law. Those who wish to become financing members should submit an appropriate written request to the Board of Directors, stating:

  • first name, last name, place and date of birth, residence and fiscal code or, in case of legal person,
  • corporate name and registered office; number of shares to be subscribed;
  • declaration of acceptance of this statute and the decisions formally adopted by the association organs of the cooperative;
  • any other disposition of the meeting that decides for the issuance of the financing shares. 

 

The decision about the acceptance of the request is made by the Board of Directors, which makes the registration in the appropriate section of the shareholders' book.

To believe in a big project and to be part of it.

These members are those who wish to invest in the cooperative as a company and who participate in its development and modernisation, by buying its shares. These participating shares are issued based on the terms and conditions provided by the law, for an amount not more than the carrying value of the net worth resulting from the latest certified financial statement and deposited with the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare. 

The cooperative accepts as funding shareholders also those who have subscribed financial instruments other than those provided in articles  4, 5 e 6 of law no. 59/92.
