SA8000 – Cerfitication of Socially Acceptable Practices in the workplace – Since 2016

OHSAS 18001 is an international norm that COOSS has been adopting since 2009, in order to ensure the health and the safety of the working place. It exists to help all kinds of organizations put in place demonstrably sound occupational health and safety performance. It is a widely recognized and popular occupational health and safety management system.

The OHSAS 18001 standards provide organizations with the elements of an effective safety management system which can be integrated with other management systems and help organizations achieve better occupational health and safety performance and economic objectives. The acronym OHSAS stands for Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series and identifies the world’s main reference in terms of workforce safety and security. The obtainment of this certification confirms the effort COOSS in creating a protected working environment.
