COOSS provides services to people living situations of addiction, in collaboration with the territorial authorities and the Health Local Units. We offer:
- Prevention services, under the form of Information Centres and counselling activities, particularly in the schools, aimed to raise awareness and to prevent more people from becoming entangled in situations of addiction;
- Research projects for the planning, development and evaluation of innovative actions dedicated to mental health issue;
- Street Units, which operate to reduce the harm and diminish the addiction effects through timely and effective activities;
- Outpatient Services, Therapeutic Day Centres and Therapeutic Residential Communities for the addiction diagnosis and treatment. Different solutions are offered, to give individuals and their families answers to different needs, ranging from outpatient interventions to residential communities for periods of varying length.
COOSS is also member of several Addiction Departments in Marche region and actively participates in two Department Committees in Ancona and Jesi.
It is finally members of CREA – (Regional Committee of Accredited Entities) – a regional Association that brings together the main private and social actors dealing with pathological addictions.
